What is the best way to sell a diamond necklace?

The best (and certainly the easiest) way to sell your diamond necklace is right here with us! Our online price match guarantee means the price we offer won’t be beaten.

Where can I sell my diamond necklace?

The great thing about selling your diamond necklace to Postgoldforcash.com is there’s no need to shop around or haggle for the best price. Simply order your free selling pack, return your items in the fully insured Special Delivery envelope and we’ll be in touch with an offer.

Do diamond necklaces have resale value?

Yes, diamond necklaces do have resale value. However, the offer will usually be lower than the original purchase price.

How to tell how much a diamond necklace is worth?

At Postgoldforcash.com, we have over 30 years’ experience valuing gold, silver and diamond jewellery, so you don’t need to worry about establishing the value of your necklace yourself. As one of the UK’s most trusted online gold buyers, we guarantee to offer you a fair and competitive price online for your necklace, even if the chain is broken.

How much can I sell a diamond chain or necklace for?

We assess the value of your diamonds using the four Cs - the standard method for grading all precious stones:

Cut

This refers to the diamond’s shape and symmetry, which affect how light enters and reflects within the stone. The more reflections, the brighter the diamond appears.

Clarity

Clarity is about the number and size of internal flaws (inclusions) and surface imperfections (blemishes). Fewer imperfections mean a higher value.

Colour

While diamonds come in various shades, the whiter the stone, the higher its value. Yellowish tones suggest more impurities, which can reduce the price.

Carat

Carat refers to the diamond’s weight. Prices are calculated per carat, so the greater the weight, the more the diamond is worth. Please note that lab grown diamonds have a lower price per carat than natural diamonds.
