These Terms and Conditions (T's and C's) are binding on Postgoldforcash ltd (Postgoldforcash) and on every customer of Postgoldforcash. We have tried to write them in a way that can be easily understood . If you would like a copy, please print them from our website, or email us at info@Postgoldforcash.comor call us on 01202 666249.
By posting goods to Postgoldforcash, each customer agrees to all the T's and C's regardless of whether you have signed the Customer Declaration which is sent out with each FREE Postgoldforcash Pack.
Every customer must be at least 18 years of age in order to sell items to Postgoldforcash. Every customer must be the actual legal owner of all gold, jewellery and other property sold or attempted to be sold to Postgoldforcash. Every customer must be acting on his or her own behalf and not as the agent or representative of another person.
At Postgoldforcash's request, the customer will provide documentation or other proof that complies with the requirements contained in these T's and C's.
The customer guarantees all of the following: that no items sent to us are the result of illegal activity in the UK or any other country; that any transaction initiated by the customer will not cause Postgoldforcash to be in violation of any anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism, or other applicable law of any country; not to send any hazardous material to Postgoldforcash and not to send Postgoldforcash any material that does not contain precious metals.
All items sent to Postgoldforcash must be via Royal Mail Special Delivery. All items posted to us are at the customer's own risk (albeit they are insured by Royal Mail for up to £500 until we receive them) until received and signed for by Postgoldforcash. If you believe your items are worth more than £500, you must pay an additional fee at the Post Office to increase the insurance level to either £1,000 or £2,500. If we buy your items, we will refund this extra insurance you may have paid. We may need to see your receipt from the Post Office before this refund can be processed so do keep this receipt safe. If, for any reason, Postgoldforcash does not buy your items, then no refund will be made against any extra insurance you may have taken out.
You need to list the quantities of the items you are sending us on the form provided and you need to complete your details in full and sign the Customer Declaration. Postgoldforcash reserves the right to reject any forms (and the items they are sent with) which are not properly completed and signed. Postgoldforcash also reserves the right to reject delivery of any package which appears to be opened, damaged, or tampered with in any way. Any such packages we reject will be returned to you - at our cost - but without any liability to Postgoldforcash.
Postgoldforcash accepts Gemstones. Generally it may cost more to remove a Gemstone from its setting than its value to us, so they have no intrinsic value. Where our valuers find a significant Gemstone which does have intrinsic value, this will be taken into account when an offer is made to the customer.
Once your items have been received they may be tested by our specially trained experts to determine their value, based on that day's precious metal markets. By sending us your jewellery you accept that this process of determining a value involves placing certain acids on the gold, silver, platinum or other items which can leave permanent staining and/or deep scratches. PostGoldForCash.com is not liable for any damage caused in this way or any resulting decrease in the value of the items. If we buy your items, this becomes irrelevant anyway.
We will try to make contact with you by phone. If we fail to make contact initially, we will keep trying and will keep your goods in a secure place such as a safe, in the meantime. When we make you an offer, it will be valid until 5pm that same day - as the price of Gold and other precious metals change regularly, our offers cannot be extended beyond then. Once you have accepted our offer, the goods can be immediately shipped for melting down so your acceptance is legally binding on both of us and it is irrevocable.
If after 3 months we have been unable to contact you - we will send payment for your items to the name and address provided. If you do not want to accept the offer, you have 14 days to return the payment and your items will be retuned to you. If you have not returned payment within this time, we will assume the offer has been accepted and the items will then be shipped for refining even if the cheque has not been cashed.
After our offer has been accepted, we will arrange payment details with you. We will pay by one of the following payment methods, no later than the working day after you accept our offer:
Over 97% of customers accept the offer we make them, but if you decide not to accept our offer for your items, or we cannot contact you, your goods will be returned to you - at our cost, within five (5) working days from when you declined our offer or when we last tried to contact you.
However, if you only send items containing no precious metals, there is a £10 fee for returning them, or we can dispose of them free of charge.
Your payment must be received within 3 months or the items will be disposed of.
In the unlikely event that any of your items are lost once we have received them, Postgoldforcash will pay you their replacement value, or provide items of a near equivalent value. If you are not happy with the near equivalent items we provide, we will jointly appoint, and jointly pay for, an independent valuer to assess them and we will both be bound by his or her judgment.
When returning your original items, or (in the unlikely event that they have been lost by Postgoldforcash), the equivalent value items, Postgoldforcash shall, in its own discretion, choose the return carrier and relevant insurance for each such return. We may be independently insured against any such loss, and in the event of any claim, the customer agrees to provide all such information as we or our Insurance company may reasonably request including signing for the returned package.
When you become a customer Postgoldforcash.com will send you a second FREE Postgoldforcash Pack for you to pass on to any friends or relatives who may be interested in our service. We will put YOUR unique customer reference number on their Itemised List form. If we receive that completed form together and that person becomes a new customer who sells items worth at least £100 in that transaction, then we will post you £10 as a thank you for referring that customer to us. We aim to send this money within ten working days. There is no limit on the number of times you may introduce new customers to us - we will pay £10 for each one who becomes a new customer selling over £100 on their first transaction - once we have received four complete recommendations from you - we will pay you an additional £10. If there are any disputes regarding the operation of this scheme, they will be referred to one of the Directors of Postgoldforcash whose decision will be binding.
A customer who wishes to submit a claim to Postgoldforcash must notify Postgoldforcash immediately to request a claim form. The customer must submit any and all supporting documentation with the completed and signed form. Failure to properly complete, sign and post the claim form may result in the denial of the claim by Postgoldforcash. There is a 14 day processing period from the time the claim form is received by Postgoldforcash and the claim processed. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

If a customer sends items more than once, it is your responsibility to check the T's and C's on each separate occasion that you choose to send us gold or jewellery items to ensure you know our latest T's and C's by which you agree to be bound by sending those subsequent items to us.
